Senior Business Analyst - Payroll

The Opportunity

The exciting opportunity of Senior Business Analyst Payroll is responsible for defining business processes through detailed investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information. The primary responsibility of the role is to gather detailed business requirements, document current processes and assist in defining future state for all payroll, and time and attendance processes. This opportunity is also required to create detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide the development and implementation of new system. Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Create detailed business process models, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions for process improvements.
  • Work with technical teams to design and propose solutions that address business requirements and challenges, ensuring they align with Cleanaway goals.
  • Develop clear and comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, use cases and user stories
  • Review, recommend and implement changes to processes to maintain and meet CWY legal obligations.
  • Ensure confidentiality of payroll and employee related personal information.

 

About You

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in large upgrades or new system implementation for work force management and/or payroll systems.
  • Proven experience as a business analyst on large scale payroll related programs
  • Experience in mapping processes, designing and writing requirements and presenting to stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to propose practical solutions to complex business problems.
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights from business processes and performance metrics.
