Senior Contracts Manager - Landfill & Remediation

About the Role

Are you a seasoned contracts and project delivery professional looking to make an impact in the landfill and remediation space? Cleanaway is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to oversee and guide complex projects from planning through to execution and delivery.

This role requires a strong understanding of contracts, project services, and safety program management. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to delivering exceptional results, we want to hear from you!

As the Senior Contracts Manager – Landfill & Remediation, you will:

  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and scoping projects
  • Oversee end-to-end project services, including contract administration, planning, cost control, and project execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to put together contracts and manage project delivery timelines.
  • Oversee implementation of CWY Core Process i.e. Manage of Change, Manage Contract Core Process
  • Oversee the Procurement process
  • Lead PMO operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Implement and manage safety programs across all supervised projects.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver successful landfill and remediation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms while driving effective project outcomes.
  • Experience in landfill, geosynthetic material and/or tailing dams is preferred

About You

You are driven, committed, and trustworthy, with a proven track record in project delivery and contract management. While we understand no candidate will tick every box, the ideal candidate will bring a mix of the following:

  • Experience in Contracts and Project Delivery: Skilled in project scoping, contract adminstration, planning, cost estimation, execution, and project control.
  • Landfill or Civil Background: Familiarity with landfill or civil engineering projects is highly desirable.
  • Passion for Safety: Expertise in supervising and implementing safety programs.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and coordinate teams effectively.
  • A proactive, results-driven attitude with the ability to work collaboratively.
