The Opportunity
Based in Darwin, NT, the Regional Manager is accountable for leading, directing and managing all operations within the Region and ultimately the achievement of the annual business plans, profit targets and strategic objectives. The Regional Manager is responsible for leading, directing and managing all People, Market and Asset activities for the Region.
- Ensure operational team aligned with our value operating model based on clarity, ownership, accountability and execution
- Lead, manage and drive safety improvements to achieve defined targets. Ensure compliance to Cleanaway Safety systems, processes and standards
- Ensure customer service is delivered as an absolute differentiator in the market
- Identify and develop organic volume growth opportunities with existing and new potential customers
- Accountable for the regional profit and loss, budget, forecasts and financial performance
- Manage and optimise capital, plant and equipment, fleet and construction ensuring required returns on capital employed
About You
Our ideal candidate is a talented Leader with proven experience in an industrial services business, logistics industry, waste management sector, or other relevant industry.
- Leading and managing people, markets and assets and related P&Ls of a greater size and complexity
- Experience in the development and monitoring of budgets in a complex business by establishing and transforming operational discipline and processes to drive P&L performance
- Actualising strategic plans to operational implementation and output
- High level conceptual and analytical skills with proven capacity to establish strategic directions for a complex business as well as successful commercial action plans that achieve that direction
