HR Case Management Specialist

Join us as an HR Case Management Specialist, where your expertise will directly impact workplace fairness and compliance.

 

About the Role


As an HR Case Management Specialist, you’ll manage a variety of HR cases, with a primary focus on workplace investigations. From planning and evidence collection to reporting and compliance, you’ll be the go-to expert for handling sensitive and complex issues. Your role will also include managing non-work-related injury cases and abandonment of employment matters, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workplace Investigations: Conduct investigations, gather evidence (e.g., emails, CCTV, witness statements), draft allegations, and deliver detailed findings.
  • Case Management: Oversee non-work-related return-to-work processes and abandonment of employment cases.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to ensure seamless communication and updates, while they manage the broader disciplinary process.
  • Compliance: Ensure all practices align with industrial instruments, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting: Prepare clear, comprehensive reports for each case, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

About You


You’re driven by the challenge of untangling complex issues and providing clarity through detailed investigation processes. You’re energized by a fast-moving environment and take pride in being the subject matter expert. While you don’t need to be involved in final outcomes, your meticulous approach ensures all your findings are thorough and actionable.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience managing complex workplace investigations.
  • A background in employee relations (ER) or industrial relations (IR), particularly in blue-collar or highly unionised environments.
  • Strong understanding of labour laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with handling a variety of HR issues, including injury management and abandonment cases.
  • Legal experience or a background in law is highly desirable, though not required.
