The Opportunity
Based in Wingfield, SA, with travel requirements to Darwin, NT, the Planner/Scheduler is responsible for coordinating mobile fleet resource planning requirements for business operations to ensure high standards of operational excellence. In this newly created hybrid role and utilising your mechanical experience, you will have the opportunity to make the position your own using your data-analytical skills undertaking fleet cost forecasting. This role will be required to provide leave coverage for all roles within the Workshop office team for both SA & NT.
- Liaising with third-party repairers to ensure generic repairs are completed in line with Company requirements
- Ensure adequate resourcing in line with projected planning
- Undertake training on all Workshop-related roles to provide leave coverage
About You
Our ideal candidate will be a qualified Diesel Mechanic who thrives in a busy, varied, role with proven resource planning/ scheduling skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Proven ability to effectively manage time and competing priorities
- Advanced IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Database and Resource Planning tools)
