The Opportunity
As Commercial Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients and provide commercial, analytical and business partnering support. This role will be key in leading change and driving profitable growth! In this fast-paced and exciting role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Work with a multi-discipline team across the business to deliver projects that make a real difference to our people, customers, and profits.
- Drive growth and improve overall margins through the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives and facilitate change using a range of continuous improvement tools within the commercial and pricing functions.
- Develop, deliver and maintain management tools, forecasts and insights models, to provide business relevant insights and metrics.
- Manage timely and accurate reporting to management / customer as well as decision support and commercial insight including executing tenders, annual price escalations and data insights into existing accounts.
About You
You are a professional with a strong track record in strategic commercial relationship management roles. To excel in this role you will bring:
- Sound analytical background and financial/commercial acumen skills within the B2B environment
- Exposure to managing the process for large tenders, including stakeholder engagement, pricing, solution development and contract review negotiations.
- Proven value-based pricing expertise and capability to drive earnings growth across multiple products and sales channels.
- Tertiary education in business, commerce or economics.
- Solid understanding of data analytics and the use of statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns, perform scenario analysis, etc
- Experience in working with multiple levels of stakeholder groups including executive, branch and front-line operations as well as leading a team.
- Experience working with external stakeholders, including, customers, external contractors, etc.
