About the Role

We’re looking for a Procurement Manager to take ownership of Cleanaway’s IT category.  With multiple large-scale IT projects underway and a long-term roadmap for future innovation, we need a Procurement Manager who can navigate complexity and deliver strategic outcomes.  As Procurement Manager – IT, you will lead procurement activities for our IT category, ensuring value, efficiency, and alignment with our transformation goals. You will partner with IT stakeholders to source best-fit solutions, negotiate commercial agreements, and drive supplier performance. Additionally, you will also be responsible for.

• Developing and executing IT procurement strategies aligned with current and future transformations.
• Managing sourcing, contracting, and supplier relationships across software, hardware, cloud, and services.
• Working closely with IT teams to ensure procurement solutions meet technical and business needs.
• Driving commercial value while ensuring compliance, risk management, and sustainability goals.
• Leading negotiations and supplier engagements to secure the best outcomes for the organisation and be accountable for realising cost savings.
• Ownership of Procurement’s relationship with Head of IT and project leads of transformation projects.

About You

You excel in an analytical, commercially driven environment, where you navigate complex challenges with autonomy. A natural problem-solver, you collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Your exceptional influencing and communication skills enable you to unlock and deliver the full spectrum of Procurement value levers. To be successful in this role, you will also hold.

• A relevant tertiary qualification.
• Demonstrated proven experience in IT procurement, category management, and strategic sourcing.
• Understanding of IT categories, including cloud, software licensing, AI, and managed services.
• Prior experience in contract preparation, contract negotiation/execution, contract management and supplier performance evaluation.
• A proactive mindset, able to thrive in a fast-moving transformation environment.
