The Opportunity
Are you an experienced and qualified Die Setter seeking a new role, where you will be able to contribute to an organisation by bringing your skills and attention to detail to our facility? We are seeking to add an additional experienced operator to our team, where you will ensure all machinery, tools and manufacturing operations are completed in accordance with our processes and quality frameworks. You will be confident in identifying, investigating and rectifying defects and non-conforming products and ensuring a best practise operational environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Certificate III or IV in Polymers Technology (or recognised equivalent skill)
- Previous experience in die setting on 50t to 1300t machines, including robotics, machine maintenance and problem solving
- High level skill in plastic injection moulding, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with extrusion blow moulding is desirable
- Flexibility in working hours, to ensure coverage across all three shifts
- Commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team
