The Opportunity
In this senior level, strategic, Account Management role you will manage high profile national accounts across Cleanaway’s business units. This role will be responsible for supporting service needs, managing commercial terms and helping to achieve customer strategic waste management goals. You will be pivotal in managing, building and maintaining relationships with key customer and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities will include…
- Managing customer relationships to regular cadence
- Managing the performance of service contracts
- Implement retention and growth strategies such as re-tenders, re-pricing and contract negotiations
- Retain existing business and identify new opportunities
- Conduct regular business reviews
- Negotiating with key stakeholders
- Preparation of regular reports
About You
To be successful for this position you will have proven experience in a similar capacity managing, sometimes, complex and challenging client portfolios. You will also have strong negotiation skills and experience in commercial contract review. This is a busy, challenging and diverse role so strong time management and organisational skills are required. You will be required to hit the ground running so previous experience managing key accounts is a requirement. Your background will include:
- At least 5 + years’ experience in an Account Management/ similar role
- Tertiary qualification in sales/ marketing/ management or equivalent industry experience
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Confident in preparing pitch documents, tender responses, quotes and presentations
- A creative thinker with strong problem solving skills
- Knowledge of the blue chip market, business partnering models and vertical industries would be desirable
- Be results focused
