If you thrive on resilience, drive, and direct engagement, this role is for you!

  • Deliver impactful H&S projects: Drive risk reduction and control improvements in line with Cleanaway’s HSE Roadmap.
  • Turn knowledge into action: Support sites in applying best practices to prevent injury and illness.
  • Shape standards and strategy: Contribute to the development of H&S frameworks, ensuring continuous improvement and standardisation.
  • Empower People: Influence and guide people on safety effectiveness, capability, and operational best practices.
  • Be the link to regulators: Manage reporting, relationships, and responses to ensure compliance and engagement.
  • Mentor and coach: Develop the next generation of H&S professionals by guiding and strengthening the H&S business partner team.

About You

You understand that true workplace safety is about more than just policies—it’s about fostering a culture where people feel supported and empowered.

If you’re hands-on, resilient, and passionate about creating a safer work environment, we’d love to hear from you!

You’ll Bring:

  • Real-world health and safety leadership experience in fast-paced blue-collar environments.
  • A passion for sustainability and a natural ability to connect with people.
  • The ability to influence and support cultural change through honest, practical initiatives.
  • Expertise in complex incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • A track record of implementing H&S programs that feel achievable and deliver real results.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop H&S professionals and embed a culture of safety.
