The Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Supervisor for the night shift (commencing 10pm Sunday – Thursday nights).  In this role you, you will be responsible for overseeing night shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow, managing staff, maintaining safety compliance and addressing operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.

• Monitor schedules, workflows, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance, safety regulations and company policies are met
• Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
• Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies
• Maintain accurate records, manage visual management boards and reports on night operations.
• Communicate effectively with day shift leadership team for seamless handovers.

About You

• Proven experience in an operations or logistics supervisory role
• Knowledge of transport regulations, Chain of Responsibility (COR) and compliance
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Tech-savvy and ability to pick things up quickly.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite, CRM software, and GPS tracking systems
