The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Supervisor for the night shift (commencing 10pm Sunday – Thursday nights). In this role you, you will be responsible for overseeing night shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow, managing staff, maintaining safety compliance and addressing operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor schedules, workflows, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance, safety regulations and company policies are met
- Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
- Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies
- Maintain accurate records, manage visual management boards and reports on night operations.
- Communicate effectively with day shift leadership team for seamless handovers.
About You
- Proven experience in an operations or logistics supervisory role
- Knowledge of transport regulations, Chain of Responsibility (COR) and compliance
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy and ability to pick things up quickly.
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite, CRM software, and GPS tracking systems
