The Opportunity
Reporting to the Branch Manager and based in Rockhampton, you will be managing day-to-day service delivery, operational performance, safety compliance, and team leadership across all three sites - Rockhampton, Gladstone, and Biloela. You will play a critical role in shaping the success of our operations, driving a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and customer excellence.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations across three sites, ensuring safety, service delivery, and compliance standards are met.
- Lead toolbox talks to communicate safety updates, operational goals, and key performance metrics to the team.
- Drive operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness through proactive planning and performance management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop multi-site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
- Suggest site improvements that enhance safety, operational efficiency, and compliance.
- Oversee operations staff to maintain high-performance standards and promote a culture of safety and teamwork.
About You
- Prior experience in a similar role within an industrial/logistics environment is desirable.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing multi-site teams and the ability to drive performance and engagement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead toolbox talks, engage team members, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in managing safety compliance, reviewing contractor documentation, and overseeing process improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
