The Opportunity
As a Regional Engineering and Project Manager at Cleanaway, you will execute and deliver innovative engineering solutions across our Health, Oil and Technical Services businesses. As the liaison between corporate and operations teams, you will foster collaboration and ensure that engineering solutions adhere to safety, quality and compliance standards. This is a role where your leadership, influence, and collaborative skills will shine – and where your input makes a meaningful difference.
Key Accountabilities:
- Leading engineering projects across Victoria and Tasmania
- Act as a leader in MOC, PSSR, HAZOP and HAZID
- Team leadership and development, resource allocation and performance management
- Working with operations teams to understand the region’s project and maintenance requirements
- Manage project costs, budgets, and financial reporting, and ensure compliance with financial policy and regulations
- Monitor, maintain and ensure compliance and integrity of project delivery
- Reporting, documentation and governance
About You
You are an inspired, self-motivated engineering project leader who has successfully delivered innovative engineering projects. You look at things from a change perspective, take what is there and improve the processes and compliance. A capable communicator, you thrive in a collaborative working environment and feel comfortable navigating through change. The right candidate will come from an industrial environment and possess the following.
- Excellent analytical testing, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Successfully coached, mentored and led a team of engineers and or contractors
- Strong ability to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- An Engineering degree, diploma or trade qualifications
- A deep understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Start-Up-Safety-Review (PSSR), HAZOP and HAZID
- Extensive experience working with multiple stakeholders to successfully deliver favourable project and maintenance outcomes in an industrial work environment
