Manager, Identity and Access Control

The Opportunity

This business-critical leadership role will see you taking ownership of the security and access control of Cleanaway's information systems, applications, and resources. You will promote best practices that enable and maintain a secure environment for Cleanaway’s operations. With several large-scale IT projects underway and a long-term roadmap for future innovation, we need an Identity and Access Control Manager who can navigate complexity, deliver strategic outcomes, and lead a successful team. 

Additionally, you will also be responsible for.

  • Manage and administer user identities, access privileges, and permissions, with a focus on safeguarding privileged accounts and critical data.
  • Implement and maintain processes, technologies, and controls that proactively defend against unauthorised access, misuse, potential security and insider threats.
  • Define policies and procedures for granting, revoking, and auditing regular and privileged access.
  • Make improvements to the IAM roadmap, aligning with compliance requirements and business needs.
  • Partner with security, infrastructure, application development, and business teams to integrate IAM solutions seamlessly.
  • Configure and manage systems (SailPoint AD, CyberArk) & mechanisms for elevating and delegating privileges to users when necessary.
  • Managing the compliance lifecycle of regular and privileged accounts, including creation, modification, and termination.

 

About You

You excel in an analytical, commercially driven environment, where you navigate complex challenges with autonomy. A natural problem-solver, you collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Your exceptional influencing and communication skills enable you to unlock and deliver secure identity and access controls. To be successful in this role, you will also hold..

  • Experience enforcing access control policies and governance frameworks.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, security certification, vendor product and extensive hands-on leadership experience within an IAM role.
  • Working knowledge of CyberArk / Microsoft AzureAD and M365 / Sailpoint IDAM and PAM tools.
  • Exposure to IAM governance frameworks, policies, and procedures including experience in defining and enforcing access control policies, managing segregation of duties (SoD), and conducting periodic access reviews.
  • Experience with relevant regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., PSPF, Essential8, APP)
  • Experience conducting audits, access reviews, and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
