The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our National ER team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with employee relations experience who’s ready to build on their skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll work across a broad range of matters and be part of a trusted, experienced team of ER specialists located across the country. Flexible work arrangements are available, with the role based at either our Milton or Northgate office.

Guided by our Values, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide end-to-end support on employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, and policy breaches.

  • Coach and advise leaders on a range of processes such as fitness for work, abandonment, and misconduct.

  • Draft documentation using established templates and maintain accurate records in our HRIS (RELY).

  • Escalate complex or sensitive cases appropriately, with clear and timely handovers.

  • Identify and report on case trends to support capability-building initiatives.

  • Partner with operational leaders and national ER colleagues to deliver practical, compliant advice.

About You
You’re proactive, process-driven, and confident in navigating complex ER issues. You thrive when working independently but also collaborate seamlessly with a broader national team. 

  • Qualified in HR or Law, or in a related field.

  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in ER advisory or case management.

  • Strong knowledge of employee relations legislation and workplace policy.

  • Experience interpreting and applying enterprise agreements in a large complex organisation setting.

  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to coach and support frontline leaders.
