The Opportunity

As a Talent & Capability Specialist/Capability & Learning Specialist at Cleanaway, you will partner with leaders, SMEs, and learning designers to build and deliver leadership development, capability building, and talent pipeline initiatives. Most importantly, this role will assist in defining and clarifying key leadership roles within Cleanaway to ensure we reach our corporate objectives.

 

Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing practical, scalable leadership development solutions, and manager resources  
  • Working with operational leaders and functional SMEs to establish clear leadership standards, responsibilities and accountabilities for our operational leaders and key support teams
  • Building development pathways that integrate formal learning, on-the-job exposure, coaching and mentoring
  • Supporting leaders embed Talent Review and Succession Planning process and turn outcomes into targeted, high-impact development solutions
  • Engaging directly with Senior business leaders to understand team priorities, skills gaps, and development needs
  • Supporting the evolution of onboarding and induction experiences for people leaders
  • Influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels to drive adoption of new leadership practices and learning tools

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage, influence and balance diverse priorities and perspectives across business units, Senior leaders, HR, SMEs, and learning designers
  • Ability to act as a bridge between key stakeholders and learning designers to translate business needs into practical, fit-for-purpose tools and resources for leaders
  • Exceptional communication and change management skills
  • Ability to think strategically, while delivering solutions for operational leaders that are pragmatic, focused on skills that matter, and drive real capability and performance
  • Expertise in Talent Review and Succession Planning frameworks, designing blended development pathways (including education, experience and exposure) and mentoring and coaching programs
  • Experience in leading the implementation of Talent Review, Succession Planning, Career Development, Mentoring and Coaching programs across the enterprise
  • Experience working in a large, fast-paced, and decentralised organisation, ideally with dispersed or field-based teams
  • Proven ability to facilitate engaging and fit-for-purpose workshops and capability building sessions
