The Opportunity

Are you a natural hunter with a passion for driving new business?

Cleanaway is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our vibrant Sydney Sales Team, based at either Padstow or Riverstone, working within our sustainable fats-to-fuels business. 

In this exciting and rewarding role, you’ll play a key part in expanding our footprint across the food services sector by identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities within your assigned territory. If you thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and love building client relationships from the ground up, this is the role for you.

Additionally, you will be responsible for

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across your geographical area
  • Drive sustainable growth by developing strategic relationships with key clients
  • Prepare and submit compelling proposals and follow up leads to close sales
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and nurture long-term client partnerships
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets aligned with business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Cleanaway to deliver seamless solutions

 

 About You

A passion for sales, you are resilient, tenacious and comfortable driving new business opportunities. Ideally, you will come from a food services background and possess the following skills and attributes.

  • A passion for sales and a hunger for winning new business
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, account management and relationship building
  • Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce is highly regarded
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to balance fieldwork and admin
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and results-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
