The Opportunity

Cleanaway is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our vibrant Sydney Sales Team, based at either Padstow or Riverstone, working within our sustainable fats-to-fuels business.
In this exciting and rewarding role, you’ll play a key part in expanding our footprint across the food services sector by identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities within your assigned territory. If you thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and love building client relationships from the ground up, this is the role for you.
Additionally, you will be responsible for
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across your geographical area
- Drive sustainable growth by developing strategic relationships with key clients
- Prepare and submit compelling proposals and follow up leads to close sales
- Deliver outstanding customer service and nurture long-term client partnerships
- Achieve and exceed sales targets aligned with business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Cleanaway to deliver seamless solutions
About You
A passion for sales, you are resilient, tenacious and comfortable driving new business opportunities. Ideally, you will come from a food services background and possess the following skills and attributes.
- A passion for sales and a hunger for winning new business
- Proven track record in business development, sales, account management and relationship building
- Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce is highly regarded
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to balance fieldwork and admin
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and results-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
