The Opportunity
This is a newly created role at our state-of-the-art Materials Recovery Facility in Rooty Hill. As our Administration Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our operations — keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes while ensuring our business clients have a seamless experience.
Working predominantly across B2B operations, you’ll manage a variety of key functions, including payroll data entry, product exports, accounts receivable/payable, purchasing, and invoicing. No two days will be the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who loves variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role will be based 4 days at our Rooty Hill site and 1 day per week at our Greenacre site, giving you exposure across multiple operations and teams.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Own the admin process from invoices and purchase orders to financial timelines.
- Work with vendors to secure essential goods and services.
- Manage shipping logistics to ensure cost-effective and on-time deliveries.
- Maintain accurate data and records to keep operations running smoothly.
- Build strong working relationships with our internal teams and stakeholders.
About You
- Proven administration experience (Previous experience in logistics, manufacturing, or similar industries is desirable).
- A natural multitasker with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communicator – both written and verbal.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proactive, positive, and ready to learn – you’ll take ownership and run with it.
- Able to work independently while being a collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
