The Opportunity
As Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth across Cleanaway’s IS market. Partnering with Tier 1 & 2 civil contractors and major infrastructure projects, you’ll sell and manage industrial solutions such as vacuum excavation and high-pressure water blasting.
With a strong regional portfolio across Sydney, you’ll be responsible for building and executing a sales pipeline, securing re-signs and new contracts, and maximising cross-sell opportunities across our service offering. Supported by Cleanaway’s market leadership and collaborative teams, you’ll leverage your commercial acumen and market insights to deliver on revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction, all while ensuring excellence in compliance, reporting, and professional conduct.
About You
You are energised by hunting for new business, thrive on communication, and are passionate about selling industrial service solutions, whether securing new clients or re-signing existing ones.
Your business development acumen is proven, with a track record of converting pipelines into profitable growth. With strong experience in customer management, solution selling, and negotiations, you excel at building trusted partnerships and uncovering new opportunities.
Your exposure to industrial services, waste, or related sectors (including vacuum excavation, high-pressure water blasting, or major infrastructure projects) means you understand client needs and can position value-added solutions effectively.
Confident with CRM systems, and sales reporting such as Sales Force, you are disciplined, self-motivated, and resilient in managing competing priorities.
A natural relationship builder and communicator, you combine sharp commercial acumen with a collaborative mindset to achieve business outcomes and exceed targets.
