The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Key Account Manager - Business Development to join our QLD team based at Yatala. With a strong portfolio across Brisbane, you’ll take ownership of a high-performing sales pipeline, driving re-signs, hunt for new business, and maximising cross-sell opportunities across our service offering.
Backed by Cleanaway’s market leadership and collaborative teams, you’ll apply your KAM acumen and market insights to achieve revenue growth, strengthen customer retention, and elevate satisfaction, all while upholding the highest standards of compliance, reporting, and professional conduct.
Aligned to our guiding principles, you will.
- Oversee a portfolio of customers to grow opportunities and strengthen collaboration and have a deep understanding of the client's scope of work.
- Undertake new business development activity to build on your portfolio.
- High level of negotiations, presentations, and planning key accounts.
- Collaborate with peers and executives across the business, leveraging expertise and contributing as required to maximise business outcomes.
- Undertake data analysis of competitor activity reports and market intelligence.
About You
You are a strategic, proactive, hands-on Sales Manager who delivers industry-best solutions.
- Proven experience in a similar Key Account Manager - Business Development role within a fast-paced or service-based industry is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience and confidence in reviewing legal contracts and agreements with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated record of driving business growth.
- Strong presentation and proposal/tender development skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
