The Opportunity
The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading the development, deployment, and management of category strategies to deliver sustained value and competitive advantage to Cleanaway and its business units. Responsibilities include:
- Deliver outcomes end-to-end: work closely with operational, functional and commercial stakeholders to design and implement category and sourcing strategies that unlock savings and improves service quality, reliability, and supplier performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across procurement and the business to identify synergies, accelerate adoption, and challenge the status quo constructively, including engaging senior stakeholders and strategic suppliers to align priorities, remove blockers, and scale improvements.
- Manage supplier value: embed KPIs/SLAs, continuous improvement, and corrective actions; escalate and resolve issues fast.
- Reduce total risk: strengthen supply resilience, HSE compliance, and commercial protections while enabling the business to move faster.
- Capture and report benefits: baseline, track, and communicate value delivered—both hard savings and non-price benefits.
