The Opportunity
Based in Geraldton, WA, Office Facilities Coordinator is a busy and varied role, where you will greet and assist internal and external customers, as well as assisting in administrative procedures such as raising purchase orders, processing invoices and invoice queries. You will be the key point of contact with the City of Greater Geraldton, with operational responsibility. Other key responsibilities include…
- Ensure visitors comply with sign in requirements including site safety (visitor sign in system)
- Responsible for mail/postage/couriers’ distribution - internal, external & interstate
- Ensuring the work environment is maintained in a professional, clean, and tidy manner across all office areas- kitchen, toilets, and front car park and all that entails – i.e., Cleaning, pest control, electrical works, plumbing, repairs/maintenance, air conditioning, etc
- Arrange catering requirements for management meetings, town halls, mornings teas, meetings etc
- Order and monitor stationery, Newspapers & kitchen supplies
- Expenses and travel arrangements
- Assist with ops admin tasks including ordering PPE, stickers, uniforms, padlocks, other stock
About You
Our ideal candidate will have a friendly and adaptable personality, who is flexible and able to pick up new tasks quickly.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Bring a great team spirit and ‘can do’ approach to all work and a strong customer focus
- A commitment to willingness to learn, produce high quality work with attention to detail
- Advanced skills in MS Office Packages
- Any prior customer service, admin, reception, or relevant work experience will be highly regarded.
