The Opportunity
Join our team at the Artarmon Transfer Station as a Transfer Station Operator and play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.
We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused operator who enjoys hands-on work and can help manage the movement of trucks and trailers throughout the day.
- Staging and moving trucks and trailers for loading and quick changeovers
- Using a backhoe to assist with overweight or compacted trailers
- Keeping the area behind packer units clean and tidy
- Communicating with drivers and directing tipping locations
- Supporting safe, efficient daily operations
About You
- Current Heavy Combination (HC) licence – unrestricted
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to safety
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
