Major Account Manager

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Major Account Manager to help drive growth in our innovative fats-to-fuels business. Based in either Melbourne or Sydney, you’ll be at the forefront of Cleanaway’s expansion into the food services sector, building strong partnerships, unlocking new opportunities, and delivering impactful solutions.

Enjoy travel across Vic, NSW and QLD as part of this exciting role.

 

What you will do

  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with existing customers on revenue and operational execution
  • Prepare monthly reporting to major customers, providing relevant detail as required by customer
  • Identify and pursue share of wallet increases with existing customers across multiple states
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across multiple functions to deliver, execute and report on key strategic initiatives in line with Cleanaway’s “Fats to Fuels” Blueprint

 

About You

You’re a natural connector with a sharp commercial mindset and a passion for building relationships. You thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to turn data into action. 

You’ll have:

  • Demonstrated Major or National Account Management skills within complex environments
  • Ability to conduct contract reviews, execute new contracts linked to KPI’s
  • Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills across diverse stakeholders including C level stakeholders
  • A solid grasp of business operations and data-driven decision-making
  • Experience in FMCG, food services, logistics, waste, or environmental services is a plus
