Operations Manager – Make an Impact with Cleanaway

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and support a small but mighty team, including drivers, admin, and sales.
  • Build strong relationships with our key customer and deliver exceptional service every day.
  • Drive a safety-first culture, ensuring everyone goes home safely, every day.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, streamline operations, and meet performance targets.
  • Track and analyse operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resources effectively.
  • Be the go-to problem solver for any escalations, quick thinking and calm under pressure.

About you:

We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with others to achieve common goals. Additionally, we are looking for someone who shares our values and is committed to making a positive impact in everything they do.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience managing teams in an operational enviroment.
  • A current driver’s licence.
  • A strong safety mindset, you lead by example.
  • Experience in the waste management, logistics, or similar operational environment.
  • Confident with systems and the MS Office suite.
  • Strong collaboration skills, you work well across teams and departments.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach, you get things done.
