Apprentice Engineering (Toolmaker)

Responsibilities:
- Learn and assist in maintaining and repairing tools, dies, jigs fixtures and other precision parts and equipment.
- Participate in scheduled preventative maintenance services.
- Operating precision machinery, building and maintaining custom tooling (jigs, dies, and moulds)
- Contribute to maintaining a respectful workplace for all employees.
- Undertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directed.
- Contribute to ensuring all equipment is safe to use and stored correctly.
Skills and Experience:
- Willingness to undertake an apprenticeship in Engineering (Toolmaking) – no prior experience required.
- Strong math/problem-solving skills, Mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity for precision work.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the maintenance of tools and machinery equipment
- Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety.
