The Opportunity
Based at the Kemps Creek Landfill in NSW, the Reception & Administration Officer is the first point of contact for the site, including managing reception, coordinating all office- and site-related activities, liaising with site visitors & contractors, distributing information to stakeholders, and scheduling weighbridge operations.
- Be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors & staff at the site’s reception
- Administer the sites financial activities including purchase orders, reconciling invoices, invoice dispute resolution, supplier setups
- Coordinate the onboarding process and access for office-based new starters, existing employees and visitors for our office.
- Complete site inductions for contractors and manage contractor safety & commercial documentation
- Work closely with the weighbridge team to ensure all reporting & administration is completed, and to triage any customer feedback.
- Oversee the office requirements, including liaison and coordination of relevant building maintenance and contractors for access and repairs, including ordering of equipment, stationery, consumables.
- Ensure all office & weighbridge areas are maintained in a professional, clean and tidy manner
About You
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer-facing administration role, with excellent communication and organisational skills, preferably in a large, multi-disciplined organisation. This role binds all the departments together, such as operations, health & safety, environment etc, so you will have the ability to deal professionally with stakeholders, including third-party contractors.
