The Opportunity
Join a national leader in hazardous waste management and resource recovery.
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Administration Officer to join our high-performing Liquids team based in Dandenong South. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting one of our most critical operational portfolios, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery of services.
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract with genuine opportunities to build capability in Victoria’s leading liquids-treatment operation.
What you will do.
In this role, you will be responsible for core operational administration tasks that keep our site running safely and efficiently, including:
- Coordinating daily transport and disposal schedules for hazardous waste collections
- Liaising with drivers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant job execution
- Processing and reconciling waste tracking documents, manifests, and delivery dockets
- Maintaining accurate service records, inventory information, and job completion data in JDE
- Supporting HS&E processes including incident reporting, toolbox documentation and environmental compliance
- Assisting with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) documentation and operational compliance workflows
- Providing administrative and operational support to the Operations Supervisor and wider site team
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, compliance, and operational performance
About you
You thrive in a dynamic operational environment and take pride in delivering accurate, timely and compliant administrative support. You will bring:
- A strong safety-first mindset and commitment to environmental and regulatory compliance
- Experience in operations, logistics, transport coordination, or waste management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with frontline operators, drivers and contractors
- Familiarity with JDE or other ERP/transport management systems (highly regarded)
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail.
