The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Oils & Technical Services operations in Narangba. In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll guide a team of 30 operational and administrative professionals, champion safety and compliance, drive performance, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee day-to-day operations, optimise fleet and transport performance, and shape a high-performing, positive culture across the branch.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the collection fleet to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable service for our hazardous packaged waste business.
- Champion compliance and cultivate a proactive, safety-first culture.
- Drive engagement, retention, and development through performance reviews, talent planning, and succession initiatives (supported by HR).
- Partner with Commercial Finance to improve data integrity, streamline workflows, and support market growth.
- Oversee operational and financial performance, including P&L, budgeting, and forecasting, implementing strategies to strengthen profitability.
- Coach and mentor team members to achieve operational KPIs and uphold safety standards.
- Investigate incidents, lead safety initiatives, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
About You
You’re a strategic, hands-on leader with strong operational experience in hazardous liquids, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial services. You bring a mix of leadership, commercial acumen, and a solutions-focused mindset.

- Proven leadership in logistics, manufacturing, or hazardous liquid operations.
- Experience with liquid collection or similar operational environments.
- Strong financial acumen, using data to drive efficiency, service quality, and profitability.
- Solid understanding of fleet management and vehicle maintenance compliance.
- Demonstrated P&L management and cost optimisation experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage staff, contractors, and senior leaders effectively.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to operational challenges.
