The Opportunity

Act as a trusted advisor, guiding leaders through complex and sensitive employee matters. You’ll manage end-to-end employee relations casework and investigations with fairness and integrity, provide practical and confident advice, and work closely with HR business partners to achieve balanced, compliant, and commercially sound outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen leadership capability and shape best-practice employee relations across the business.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Manage end-to-end employee relations cases, including misconduct, poor performance, grievances, and non-work-related injury or illness matters.
  • Conduct thorough, impartial, and well-documented internal investigations in line with legal and organisational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records of employee matters, ensuring documentation meets legislative and company standards.
  • Draft ER documentation and correspondence using established templates.
  • Provide timely, practical advice, coaching, and support to leaders on ER issues.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to achieve balanced, commercial, and legally sound outcomes.
  • Coach and build ER capability within the business and HR community.

About You

  • Proven experience managing employee grievances and complex ER casework.
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to run impartial workplace investigations.
  • Strong understanding of workplace relations and OHS legislation.
  • Excellent analytical, evidence-gathering, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence outcomes.
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • A collaborative and pragmatic approach to resolving employee matters.
