• Permanent - Full Time position – Morningside, QLD

• Fast-paced, hands-on role coordinating day-to-day operations

Your new role:

• Coordinating processing staff to maximise operational efficiencies for incoming processing volumes.
• Coordinate with customers, logistic companies and downstream processing facilities to schedule collections of processed material.
• Consulting with line management in the development and management of operational targets
• Ensuring all pre-start, post-run, and minor day-to-day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
• Coordinating and scheduling of fixed and mobile plant maintenance and upgrades
• Leading a high level of customer service and driving operational efficiencies within the team
• Supporting social and environmental events as a contractor to the QLD containers for change scheme
• Managing labour efficiencies and overall cost management
• Coordinating and scheduling day to day operations of driver runs when required
• Lead performance management investigations and outcomes
• Ensuring adherence to company safety standards and policies

Your skills and experience:

• Experience in a supervisory role in an Operational environment
• Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
• Experience In plastics/glass or aluminium production/processing or recycling is advantageous
• Experience within the warehousing/manufacturing/transport/waste/ recycling industries is desirable
• Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation
• Knowledge of the NHV legislation
• A HR driver’s licence is advantageous, but not essential.
