The Opportunity

As the ER Advisory Manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership to a team of ER Advisors, overseeing workflow, capacity and case allocation. You will act as the primary escalation point for complex ER matters, partnering closely with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to deliver pragmatic, compliant and commercially sound outcomes.

You will also play a pivotal role in shaping ER capability through coaching, projects and process improvement initiatives, supported by strong reporting, governance and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Manage daily workflow, resourcing, case allocation and capacity planning
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to ER Advisors on complex and sensitive matters
  • Act as the escalation point for the business on high-risk ER issues
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to deliver practical, commercial ER outcomes
  • Lead and contribute to ER-related projects and initiatives
  • Oversee reporting, administration and follow-up, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Analyse trends, SLAs and case data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Manage and oversee the ER chargeback process

About You

  • Proven experience in Employee Relations advisory and people leadership
  • Strong working knowledge of workplace relations and employment legislation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex ER matters and escalations
  • Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable engaging with senior leaders
  • Strong analytical and reporting capability, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative leadership style with a coaching mindset
