Operations Supervisor
- Permanent - Full Time position – Morningside, QLD
- Competitive salary package
- Day Shift, Friday to Tuesday roster (Wednesday and Thursday off) Weekend allowance paid
- Fast-paced, hands-on role coordinating day-to-day operations
- Leading a team that is supporting the Containers for Change Scheme
Your new role:
- Drive operational efficiencies within the team, continual review and improvement of collection runs and service delivery
- Develop and mentor a collaborative, efficient and engaged team.
- Coordinate the scheduling of the day-to-day operations of driver runs
- Ensure all pre-start, post-run, and minor day-to-day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
- Lead a high level of customer service within the collection teams, investigate and resolve service issues
- Consult with line management in the development and management of operational targets
- Enforce and monitor all NHVR regulations
- Manage and prepare detailed reports on labour efficiencies and overall cost management
- Lead performance management investigations and outcomes
Your skills and experience:
- Experienced Supervisor with a transport & logistics background,
- Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation
- Knowledge of the NHV legislation
- A passion for safety and sustainability
- Heavy Rigid driver’s licence is desirable, but not essential
