We are Australia’s largest company in this sector, providing essential services to millions of customers and communities nationally.
The Opportunity
Cleanaway is embarking on a significant fleet transformation journey, and we are looking for a Fleet Analytics Manager to be at the centre of it.
In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of data reporting solutions across Cleanaway’s national fleet, enabling the business to make faster, smarter and more strategic decisions. You will work closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and broader Fleet and Logistics leadership team, playing a pivotal role in leading data transformation as we centralise activities and uplift our reporting capability.
This is not a routine reporting role. As we evolve our operating model, no two days will be the same. You will be instrumental in cleansing, structuring and strengthening data that is not always complete, building robust dashboards, and confidently presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
This is a rare opportunity to shape how data is used across a large and complex fleet operation, and to see the tangible outcomes of your work across safety, cost, performance and efficiency.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the development of Power BI dashboards covering repairs and maintenance, fuel, capex, safety, utilisation and other fleet cost drivers.
- Manage and maintain reporting frameworks that drive EBIT improvement, cost reduction and operational uplift.
- Act as product owner for the fleet database in JDE, ensuring strong governance, improved data integrity and a reliable single source of truth.
- Partner closely with Commercial, IT, Data and Analytics, and operational leaders to design scalable and sustainable reporting solutions.
- Support monthly performance cycles, including the Monthly Operating Review, with automated and insight driven reporting.
- Cleanse, validate and structure incomplete or inconsistent datasets to improve reliability and decision making.
- Develop user stories, data models, process maps and business analysis to support strategic and transformation initiatives.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
- Support compliance, governance, risk and high impact transformation programs.
About You
You are a resilient, data driven problem solver who thrives in a dynamic and evolving environment. You are comfortable working with imperfect data, confident in challenging constructively, and capable of turning complexity into clarity.
You are passionate about dashboard development, enjoy building strong data foundations, and are equally comfortable developing a model as you are presenting insights to senior leaders.
You will shine in this role if you bring:
- Strong experience in analytics and dashboard development, particularly Power BI, DAX and data modelling.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial and operational modelling capability.
- Experience leading cross functional reporting initiatives, ideally within fleet, operations, logistics or industrial services.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks, naming conventions, privacy standards and workspace management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as JDE.
- Tertiary qualifications in analytics, data science, business or related fields.
