The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of high-value, strategic customers across Cleanaway’s total waste management offering.
This role is focused on retention, contract optimisation and long-term growth, working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver value-led, end-to-end solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage a portfolio of Platinum tier accounts, acting as the primary strategic contact
- Build strong, long-term relationships with senior customer stakeholders
- Lead contract renewals, pricing reviews and complex commercial negotiations
- Develop and deliver account plans that drive retention, growth and share of wallet
- Identify and deliver cross-service opportunities across Cleanaway’s offering
- Partner with operations, customer service, HSE, legal and bid teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Maintain accurate CRM, forecasting and reporting
- Ensure contractual, safety and governance requirements are met
About You
- Proven experience managing large, complex key or national accounts
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including contract and pricing negotiation
- A consultative, relationship-led approach to account management
- Ability to operate across multiple stakeholders and business units
- High attention to detail, governance and risk management
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
