The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Health & Safety Business Partner to support our resource recovery operations across multiple sites. This is a hands-on role where you'll partner closely with operational leaders to embed safe work practices, strengthen safety culture, and ensure consistent implementation of health, safety and risk management frameworks.

As a trusted advisor, you'll provide practical support to frontline teams, helping leaders manage risk, implement critical controls, and drive continuous improvement across a diverse and dynamic operational environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner with site leaders to provide day-to-day health and safety support across multiple operational locations.
  • Facilitate risk assessments, incident investigations, and critical control verification activities to manage operational risk.
  • Coach and support leaders to build safety capability, ownership, and accountability within their teams.
  • Support audit, assurance, compliance, and incident management activities to meet legislative and company requirements.
  • Promote proactive hazard identification, risk management, and continuous improvement across all sites.
  • Maintain a strong site presence, influencing positive safety behaviours and supporting the delivery of HSE initiatives and objectives.

About You

You are a pragmatic and influential health and safety professional who enjoys partnering with operational teams to deliver meaningful safety outcomes. You thrive in fast-paced, multi-site environments and can balance compliance requirements with practical operational solutions.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in a Health & Safety Business Partner, Advisor, or similar role within a high-risk operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple sites and partnering with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessments, critical controls, incident management, and safety management systems.
  • Proven ability to coach, influence, and build credibility with leaders at all levels.
  • Sound understanding of WHS legislation and contemporary safety practices.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused communicator passionate about driving sustainable safety outcomes.
