• Permanent – Full Time – Crestmead, QLD
• $35.11 per hour + all overtime paid at penalty rates
• Monday to Friday, up to 10 hours per day, return to base at the end of each shift.
• Mobile phone provided for work-related activities
• Early Morning starts (4-6 am) as per business requirements.
• Induction and training provided, Uniforms and PPE provided

The Opportunity:

Based at our Crestmead depot, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites within the greater metro area. Your role includes collecting used lubricating oil into a rigid tanker truck and delivering it to our liquid recycling facility or storage facilities. You will be working with a safe, modern, and reliable fleet. You will be required to operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations and complete all paperwork and records accurately.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have the following:

• Must be available for an early morning start (4 am to 6 am, depending on the day)
• Comfortable climbing ladders for the purpose of accessing the top of the tanker to complete tank dips to ensure compliance
• Ability to work well in a team environment or alone as per task requirements
• Good communication both verbal and written
• Tech savvy for use of electronic work Diary, pre & post vehicle checks and Customer service dockets
• A Manual HR Licence as a minimum
• Good attitude, reliable, and willing to learn 
• Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
• To be considered for this role, you must be able to obtain a National Police check (paid for by Cleanaway) 
• A strong understanding of Chain of responsibility and NHVR requirements
• A great attitude towards safety and compliance
• Waste industry experience is not required
