The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join our team in Dandenong South on a 12-month contract. In this role, you’ll be supporting a diverse range of business customers — from small local operators to large commercial and industrial sites, who rely on us to keep their waste services running smoothly. You’ll coordinate bin deliveries and collections, manage service changes, and confidently handle escalations in a professional and solutions-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of inbound calls from commercial customers arranging bin deliveries, collections and service changes
- Coordinate bookings and scheduling to meet operational and customer timeframes
- Handle service issues and complaints with professionalism, empathy and a clear resolution focus
- Respond to email enquiries promptly and accurately
- Update and maintain customer records within our CRM system
- Liaise with operations teams to ensure services are delivered as scheduled
About You
- Experience in a busy customer service or call centre role
- Confident managing complaints and difficult conversations while remaining calm and solutions-focused
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with commercial customers
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
