The Opportunity

As our Key Account Manager, you will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our key clients, understand client needs, and provide customised waste solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in key account management.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Oversee a portfolio of customers with an annual spend in excess of 10m> revenue.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth.
  • Prepare and submit tenders and quotes, manage contract renewals, and negotiate with key clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare sales presentations and regular reports on account status, revenue, and growth opportunities.

About You

  • Proven experience in a similar key account management role within the Waste and/or service-based industry is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience and confidence in reviewing legal contracts and agreements with strong attention to detail and business acumen.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with a proven record of driving business growth.
  • Strong presentation and proposal/tender development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
