The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Control Room Operator (CRO) to join our Control Room Team. This role is critical to the safe operation of yellow gear across all sites, monitoring Mobile Plant and Pedestrian Interaction (MPPI) technology and responding to real-time alerts. The CRO will also provide relief coverage for our In Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) operators as required.

Our control room is currently based in Dandenong, with plans to relocate to the CBD later this year. Hours of work are 7:00am – 3:00pm Monday to Friday, with some weekend work as required.

• Monitor and action real-time MPPI alerts in line with procedures
• Communicate professionally with Site supervisors and operational teams
• Provide timely support to operational leaders during event escalations
• Escalate critical incidents promptly and accurately
• Maintain accurate system records to support investigations
• Support safe operator behaviour and adherence to compliance and standards

About You

• Experience in a control room, call centre, or emergency response environment
• Proven ability to manage time-critical incidents and escalations
• Comfortable working across multiple IT systems and platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident speaking to a variety of stakeholders within the business
• Available to work alternate shifts to cover leave as required
