The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially astute and driven Commercial Business Partner to support our Strategic Business Unit and Regional Management teams. You will operate as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, driving commercial excellence and informed decision making across a complex, high performing business.
As a Commercial Business Partner, you will provide high-quality financial insight, reporting, and decision support to enable the business to achieve its strategic and financial objectives. You will work closely with regional teams, challenging assumptions, identifying opportunities, and driving performance in a complex and fast paced business. Key responsibilities;
- Partner with operational leaders to translate strategy into measurable financial results, driving commercial discipline, accountability and performance
- Lead the monthly financial reporting cycle, providing clear insights into business performance while identifying improvements pathways
- Deliver financial analysis, modelling and forecasting to support decision making, identifying risks and opportunities, and improving business processes.
- Own the budgeting and forecasting processes, challenging assumptions, analysing scenarios and ensuring delivery against financial targets, including delivering long term value.
- Manage commercial and operational risk, embedding strong governance and cost control processes.
About You
- Proven experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role within a complex, face-paced business
- Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders to drive improved business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
- Demonstrated experience in data-driven modelling and analysis
- Strong understanding of management accounting, financial reporting, and commercial performance drivers
- Experienced with financial systems and process improvement through technology
- CA or CPA qualified
