The Opportunity
As a Commercial Business Analyst, you will provide commercial analysis and insight to the Oil and Technical Services leadership teams, supporting growth in revenue and profitability in line with group expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting FP&A activities, including end‑of‑month processes
- Providing financial data to support capital expenditure submissions
- Delivering analysis to drive cost savings and revenue optimisation
- Assisting with tender pricing and commercial inputs, ensuring compliance with financial and risk benchmarks
- Developing and maintaining cost models and financial reporting tools
- Producing accurate, timely management and operational reporting to support decision‑making
- Assisting with competitor reviews and acquisition analysis to assess strategic opportunities and performance
About you
You are curious and commercially minded, with strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills. You communicate clearly, adapt easily, and build strong relationships across diverse organisations. You demonstrate high attention to detail, with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity.
You will bring:
- Experience in financial and/or commercial analysis within a complex, multi‑site environment
- Strong financial modelling capability
- Proven ability to build networks and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- A process‑driven mindset with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
- High attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Working knowledge of business systems and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement through technology
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting and hold a CA or CPA qualification
