• Competitive OTE with performance‑linked SIP rewarding consistent results
Based at the Archerfield branch with territory coverage across Coomera, Upper Coomera, Yatala, Beenleigh, Jimboomba, Flagstone, Beaudesert, Loganholme, Meadowbrook and Waterford.
This is a field‑based sales and relationship role focused on new business growth and account management across a defined metropolitan territory, working primarily with Small and Medium Enterprise customers. The role suits someone who is comfortable spending time meeting customers face to face, building relationships and generating opportunities, while also working effectively from a branch office.
Waste industry experience is not required. What matters is resilience, discipline and the ability to manage a structured sales workload across a geographically defined territory.
The role requires regular time in the field. Success comes from being on the road, meeting customers, managing a pipeline and collaborating closely with internal teams.
What you will be doing
• Managing a designated territory and building strong face‑to‑face relationships with SME customers
• Driving new business acquisition while maintaining and renewing existing customer accounts
• Completing a high volume of customer meetings each month, both planned and cold visits
• Managing sales activity and pipeline through CRM systems
• Working closely with branch, operations and internal stakeholders to deliver customer outcomes
• Understanding and working within a contracted customer environment
What we are looking for
• Proven experience in field‑based sales, business development or account management
• Experience selling services to SME customers, articulating ROI and defining clear value propositions
• Comfortable balancing time in the field with branch‑based administration and follow‑up
• Demonstrated experience working with multiple internal stakeholders
• Strong CRM and pipeline management capability
• Coachable, open to learning new processes and committed to continuous improvement
This role suits someone who enjoys being out in front of customers, is self‑driven and organised, and is motivated by building a strong SME territory through disciplined activity and relationships in a fast‑paced environment.
You will work closely with local Small and Medium Enterprise customers, supporting them with practical waste solutions and helping them improve sustainability outcomes as part of Cleanaway’s broader Sustainability Framework and Blueprint 2030.
This role is well suited to sales professionals who enjoy working with hands‑on business owners and local decision‑makers rather than large enterprise accounts.
