The Opportunity

Based in Rockingham, WA, with responsibility for Southwest WA and South Australia, the Regional Manager empowers operational leaders through coaching, mentoring, and strategic support. They ensure consistency and alignment across locations, driving accountability and high performance. With a focus on HSE, people, performance, and strategic growth, the Regional Manager brings clarity to complexity and elevates leadership capability across their region.

  • Verify that all Branches in the Region meet relevant health, safety and environmental obligations, including legislation, licensing, and Cleanaway policies and standards.
  • Drive improvements to people management processes across the Region.
  • Own and manage the Regional P&L, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Translate high-level sales strategies and goals into specific projects and programs that contribute to the growth and profitability of the region.
  • Act as a critical connection between the SBU and Branches - advocating for the Region.
  • Drive operational discipline and continuous improvement (CI) practices and develop CI capability across the Region.
  • Leverage data and analytics to improve operational and financial performance across the Region.
  • Translate Cleanaway’s Blueprint 2030 and Customer & Growth (C&G) strategy into regional plans and goals
  • Lead the development of bids and tenders in the Region, with input from CBPs, Branch Leaders and other relevant SME's.
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior customer representatives.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within the Energy & Resources sector. We’re looking for a natural leader with a natural ability to build rapport with clients, prospects, internal stakeholders and team members.

  • Leading and managing people, markets and assets and related P&Ls
  • Experience in the development and monitoring of budgets in a complex business by establishing and transforming operational discipline and processes to drive P&L performance
  • Actualising strategic plans to operational implementation and output
  • High level conceptual and analytical skills with proven capacity to establish strategic directions for a complex business as well as successful commercial action plans that achieve that direction
  • 8-10 years management within a performance-focused industrial services environment
  • Contract management experience; ideally in industrial services or Oil & Gas
