The Opportunity
As part of the continued growth and expansion of our control room operations, we are seeking multiple Control Room Operators to join our team.
These roles support fleet safety, pedestrian safety, driver welfare, and compliance through real‑time monitoring of technology systems, including:
- In‑Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS), and
- Mobile Plant & Pedestrian Interaction (MPPI) / Pedestrian Detection technology
Location:
The control room is currently based in Dandenong and will relocate to Docklands (Melbourne CBD) later this year — making these roles well suited to candidates across Melbourne’s inner and middle suburbs.
Rosters:
- Some roles operate on standard weekday hours (Mon–Fri)
- Others operate on a rotating 4‑week roster, including day, afternoon, and night shifts
(Shift allocation will be discussed as part of the recruitment process.)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and action real‑time IVMS and pedestrian detection alerts in line with procedures
- Communicate professionally with drivers, site supervisors, and operational teams
- Provide timely support during incident escalation and investigation
- Escalate critical safety events accurately and promptly
- Maintain detailed records to support compliance and reporting
- Promote safe behaviours and adherence to safety standards across operations
