The Role – Customer Service Officer

We’ve got two full-time Customer Service Officer roles available in Dandenong South, and we’re looking for friendly, down-to-earth people to jump on board.
In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents, helping with enquiries, answering questions, and making sure everyone has a great experience.
As a Customer Service Officer, you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for residential enquiries, particularly around hard waste bookings and scheduling
- Assist residents by providing clear information on council guidelines and services
- Respond to email enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Investigate and resolve customer queries, escalating where required
- Maintain accurate records and keep systems up to date
