The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Commercial Business Partner to support the Health Services Business Unit (SBU), with a primary focus on the ASP Branch, including its manufacturing operations that supply collection units used across clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare settings.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager (CFM), this role provides high-quality commercial insight and decision support to branch and regional leaders, helping to deliver revenue growth, margin improvement, and disciplined financial governance. The role partners closely with Branch Managers and cross‑functional stakeholders to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in a complex, multi-site operating environment.

The successful candidate will be involved across a broad range of commercial activities, including capitalisation analysis, business case development, pricing and cost modelling, and ad‑hoc commercial investigations. You will also support broader Health Services initiatives by contributing timely and accurate reporting, challenging assumptions where appropriate, and translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insights

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Branch Managers and operational leaders to support profitability and commercial insight, appropriate challenge, and decision support to drive profitability and sustainable business outcomes
  • Deliver capital analysis and capitalisation support across the Health SBU, including analysis and reporting on capex projects, supporting sound investment decisions and compliance with internal governance requirements
  • Support the CFM and other CBPs with ad hoc analysis across an active portfolio of projects
  • Provide commercial support to sales and pricing teams (margin, pricing insight, opportunity assessment)
  • Support business case development and evaluation (including investment logic, risks, assumptions, sensitivity analysis)
  • Work with engineering teams weekly to support project performance, tracking, and decision-making
  • Assist with master data exposure/inputs, supporting improved reporting accuracy and commercial insight

About You

  • CA/CPA qualified, with experience in a Commercial BP / commercial finance/management accounting role
  • Strong business partnering capability—confident engaging with operational leaders and project teams
  • Comfortable working across competing priorities in a dynamic, project-heavy environment
  • Experience supporting capital projects/capitalisation, business cases, or engineering/project stakeholders (highly regarded)
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to tell the “story” behind the numbers
  • Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills; exposure to ERPs/master data environments is advantageous
  • Proactive, curious, and solutions-focused—someone who can spot issues early and propose practical actions
