About the Opportunity

We’re excited to welcome a Senior Project Engineer to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover). This role offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful, high-impact projects at a national level, while being part of a collaborative and supportive team.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll contribute to a range of projects where your ideas and perspective are genuinely valued:
• Working collaboratively with internal teams (on site and at managers level) to shape practical and sustainable engineering solutions
• Contribute to and, where ready, lead project delivery
• Supporting improvements to site layouts, processes, and safety outcomes
• Collaborating with stakeholders to shape thoughtful and innovative project proposals
• Helping deliver projects in a way that prioritises safety, teamwork, and quality
• Translating project needs into clear scopes, drawings, and plans, with support from colleagues and external partners

About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, is open to learning, and is motivated to make a positive impact.
You might bring:
• A degree in Engineering (we welcome a range of disciplines and career pathways)
• Experience in project engineering or project management (we recognise experience can come in many forms)
• Customer Centric - Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
• We’re looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively
• An interest in sustainability or curiosity to learn more about the waste and resource recovery sector
