Operations Supervisor
- Lead daily operations to ensure safe and efficient service delivery
- Supervise and support staff to achieve operational goals
- Monitor performance and maintain strong customer relationships
The Opportunity
- Coordinate and schedule daily collection runs and operational activities
- Consult with line management in the development and management of operational targets
- Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations and company policies
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing operations team
- Oversee vehicle pre-starts, post-run inspections and day-to-day maintenance requirements
- Lead high level of customer service within the collection teams, investigate and resolve service issues
- Prepare and analyse reports relating to labour utilisation, operational performance and cost management
- Manage and prepare detailed reports on labour efficiencies and overall cost management
- Manage employee performance, including investigations and performance improvement processes
About You
We’re looking for a results-driven leader with:
- Experience in logistics, operations, or waste management (preferred but not essential)
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
