• Lead daily operations to ensure safe and efficient service delivery
• Supervise and support staff to achieve operational goals
• Monitor performance and maintain strong customer relationships

The Opportunity

• Coordinate and schedule daily collection runs and operational activities
• Consult with line management in the development and management of operational targets
• Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations and company policies
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing operations team
• Oversee vehicle pre-starts, post-run inspections and day-to-day maintenance requirements
• Lead high level of customer service within the collection teams, investigate and resolve service issues
• Prepare and analyse reports relating to labour utilisation, operational performance and cost management
• Manage and prepare detailed reports on labour efficiencies and overall cost management
• Manage employee performance, including investigations and performance improvement processes

About You

We’re looking for a results-driven leader with:

• Experience in logistics, operations, or waste management (preferred but not essential)
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
