About the opportunity

Based at our Northgate office, this role supports Cleanaway’s national accounts. These are high-value contracts spanning major corporates, councils and government agencies, and the service they receive is managed by a small group of specialists rather than a general enquiry queue.

We are seeking a Platinum Customer Service Officer to join that team. This is a role for an experienced customer service professional who is confident holding responsibility for a defined portfolio of accounts, and who takes a genuinely consultative approach to resolving customer issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage customer relationships through a combination of practices and strategies that support retention, contractual performance and sales growth
  • Manage customer service requests end to end within the Cleanaway Salesforce CRM
  • Achieve first-call resolution in line with best practice, supporting both efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Administer and process pricing queries, escalating for compliance and approval where required
  • Investigate, log and resolve customer complaints to achieve a positive outcome and improved service
  • Monitor and record activity across inbound calls, outbound calls and email correspondence

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service or sales role
  • A proven ability to manage complaints effectively and resolve customer matters to a successful conclusion
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders
  • The composure to manage competing priorities and maintain service standards under pressure
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel capability
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is desirable, though training will be provided
